Cool Found on Youtube: a plasma speaker - very neat

Want to impress your friends with your new home theatre set-up?
Got the 150" projector screen and the best receiver on the street, but still need something else to "wow" them?

Build yourself a mass-less driver.

A colleague of mine built his own Tesla coil, and told me that a person could use it as a high fidelity speaker. Being the doubter I that I am, I googled it.

My colleague of course reminded me that the sound quality in the video is representative of the video camera's mic, my headphones, and everything in between, not the plasma speaker.

Note that the plasma speaker in the video is not technically generated by a Tesla coil, but you get the idea.
