I'm now getting 13-1 (CTV) at 100%, Omni2 (14-1) at 90%, CITS (42-1) at 90%, CHCH (22-1) at 80-90% and CTV2 (43-1) at 80-90%. This is in Bridlewood

I'm guessing that it is also on in Bridlewood too... http://digitialtv.gc.ca says they (CHCH) will switch on Sept 1 |

This is frustrating, why can't I get 42-1 and 43-1 when I get everything else? The analog signals were always terrible for me too.
becks, are you really getting CHCH 22-1 now? There are conflicting reports, some people saying it was up, others saying it won't be until tomorrow. I sure don't get it. |

I did a scan last night and picked up 42 but lost a bunch of analogs so I assumed they went off the air.
But I didn't get 22 I'll try again tonight, hopefully I don't have to trudge back onto the roof... I'm hoping since I was getting the elusive 66 I should be able to get the others. I actually lost 66 last night though.

I just did a quick scan early this morning, noticed CHCH on 22.1 thought nothing of it and turned the tv off. I have no idea if it's currently on 22.1 but it was early this morning

Thanks for the updates. I love this forum!
tvfool.com was down for a bit this morning, probably struggling under the load. |

I picked up CTV.
Last night I dropped from 21 channels to 19 and now 18 as the analogs go off. I guess until Tomorrow we should sit still as things are in flux. |

wing, by the way for my own 302sr, I plan to try another balun. It made a big difference to charettepa when he swapped his, balun on the 302sr and I recall there can be performance differences between them. I'll try the same channel master balun kind from my stash which I was using when testing the 4228hd hack, and maybe even compare with other kinds. In your case, make sure it's an outdoor kind. You can always ask your dealer if you can try another balun of the same kind, and even try other kinds too if they have them. There's no harm in that. Worse case they may charge you a few bucks.

I got an outdoor one, but yes no harm in trying, they are like $2?
Channel update, I lost suntv! Not that I care much, but zah? Gained a bunch of new ones and some moved around. Here is my list 4.1 6.1 (kind of) 9.1 13.1 14.1 24.1 42.1 43.1 60.1 65.1 66.1 |

No big loss I guess, I only used it to test, I'll use TVO now.

Well, as I had suspected, adding an extra 7' of height to my antenna solved all my reception issues. I'm now getting all of the CF and HC channels with at least 60% signal strength or above, whereas before a few of them hovered around 52% and I didn't get CITS or CHRO at all.
I have a Winegard MS-1000 omnidirectional antenna plugged into a CM7778 pre-amp, going to a distribution centre in my basement. I got the MS-1000 just to play with, and it turns out that it does everything I want it to. There was simply no way I was going to get any of the US stations in my area anyway (the closest one is WNPI with -22dB NM) so this does quite nicely. |

The only "test" when watching that channel was my patience
I saw it launch, I was astounded by the low production value and lack of professionalism, so I removed it from my channel list. There has to be a better use for that slot. |
