Well that's the point. They had Ezra Levant showing off the years old Mohammed cartoons for the same reason: trying to get someone to file a HRC complaint to get publicity. This station is about as far from credible news as you can possibly get.

And I absolutely agree with you.

Honestly though, did anyone expect Sun to go any differently than it is? From the moment the network was announced Quebecor was promising unbalanced controversy (maybe not is as many words).

Just to close the loop on this one, todays Globe reports that the Sun reporter was found not to have violated the CBSC code of ethics.

SUN TV goes on and on referring to the CBC as the "State" broadcaster.

Meanwhile they ask the Immigration department to create a fake citizenship ceremony for them, which the government does featuring a bunch of bureaucrats pretending to be new Canadians while on the job.

Your tax dollars at work for the other state broadcaster.

Well I was one of those who watched the video to see what the fuss was about. All I can say is thank god that station isn't eating up any of my airwave availability here in Victoria. Reading further regarding their typical broadcasting, well, the terms "buffoons and trash tabloid journalism" come to mind. How do they even stay on the air?
