I bought my progressives from Zenni. I have regular progressives, progressives with sunglass tint, and progressives with transitions lenses. They turned out fantastically and were relatively inexpensive. Cannot tell you how many compliments I have had on those glasses and they function beautifully.

I can't comment about Clearly Contacts but I have had progressive lenses for about four years now (lucky me started needing them in my 30s). I was convinced that when I needed reading correction, I would be driven to drink adapting to bifocals or progressives and I figured progressives would be a more tolerable adjustment for me so I went that way. Shockingly, it only took me a few minutes to get used to them (luckily my distance prescription hadn't changed; it usually takes me a few days to get used to a new distance prescription). The only problem I find is that my focus problems are rapidly growing and I need a stronger and stronger correction. My current glasses are under a year old and it's already getting to the point that I should get another prescription. My optometrist assures me that my eyes will stabilize but he figured I might still be four or five years. The deterioration slows as you go so I should be over the worst soon.

I received the glasses I ordered from Clearly Contacts. They're as described. Good quality frame (Bill Blass), coated progressive lenses with photochromatic coating that changes colour in bright light. They adjust quickly and appropriately to sunlight and when transitioning into shaded areas or indoors. I love them for driving and all-round wear in the summer.
The lenses are ground to my prescription, leaving me with excellent correction. My only complaint is that the width of the progressive reading area in the lower half of the lens is not as wide as in the expensive Essilor lenses I bought at Costco. The Essilors are better for using a computer, but no better for general all-round wear. For those looking for the most forgiving and comfortable progressives, I still suggest the Essilors. If cost is an issue or if you don't do a lot of reading or computer work with your glasses, the Clearly Contacts glasses are a real bargain.
