Default Canceling bell fibe TV question...

Hi!

I have been a bell fibe tv costumer for close to a year now and seeing how the new promotion are way better then mine, all i got was the HD PVR and HD receiver in rental free for 12 month, would cancelling and re-activating be possible?

I was told even if i cancel i have to wait at least 6 month to be considered a new client and have the new promotion... which sucks

Ps: i know for the promotion part that is the way this market works but...
