circulating basement air with goodman gmv95 furnace
When I moved into to my current house, the former owner mentioned that the furnace (Goodman GMV95) could circulate the cool basement air during the summer. It's now summer, and I can't manage to get this function working.
On the thermostat, there is a fan switch that indicates on and auto; there's also a switch that has heat, off, or cool (we don't have a/c). I've tried putting it on off, with fan switched to on, on cool with fan switched to on. Neither gets the furnace working.
I also noticed that on the furnace, on the lower right side, there's a small metal switch (the one's that look like a little stick) that it in the down position right now. Is this what I need to switch on?
I've looked at the manual (which doesn't even mention this switch-is it an add-on?), and googled. Haven't come up with anything.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
