Anyone else getting errors when they try to use Galaxie Access?

I tried it and I'm getting a Code 406 Page load error on channel 600. The straight Galaxie music channels 601-645 work OK.

Yeah - that's the same message I've got now. Can't really say when it would have started - I haven't used it in months prior to this weekend.

I just got around to trying it and it's working now. I doubt it was out for very long.

Tried yesterday morning, and it wasn't working. Tried this morning, and it was. Any updates overnight we didn't notice? Maybe it was the Galaxie service having issues? I had assumed it was an application rather than a channel feed...

Channel 600 started working sometime yesterday.
The straight Galaxie music channels never stopped working so I'm pretty sure there was an error at the MTS head-end when the STB was trying to load the app. My guess is that Galaxie provides feeds for the music channels and a separate data feed with the playlists (song/artist/album info). It is up to the provider to merge the content, which is done through an app in Mediaroom. |
