The private networks always cry when their profits are dropping and then start canceling local programming, but now with profits coming back, where's the new local programming? Some of us are waiting to get a local morning show back so we don't have to watch shows from Toronto.

I would like to know how the networks divide there news operation cost between say CTV and CTV News network channel.CTV 3 hours per day vs 24 hours news.So CTV 3/27 of cost and CTV news 24/27 of the cost seems fair.Someway I bet CTV puts most of the cost onto CTV channels operationand not there cable news channel. Its easy to make one operation look less profitable than another

Profit grows but it on the back of bigger bills and packaging that force you to buy a truckload of crap to get anything worth watching! Not to mention almost no competition between the major BDU's.
