Via their official support Twitter account, Telus has confirmed that all subscribers with a plan that includes tethering will have access to personal hotspot functionality in iOS 4.3.

In the states it's just on the iPhone 4. Will it be the same here or will it work on a 3GS?

Looks like the software only supports iPhone 4s.

All iPhone plans with data support tethering so I don't know why Telus makes people research if their plan is one that supports tethering.
It's only a couple of basic BB plans that aren't tethering capable. Big question now is what's faster? MyWi (Jailbroken iPhone 4) or Apple Personal Hotspot? And before anyone says there's no limit of 5 devices on MyWi, who in their right mind attaches more than 5 devices at one time to their phone?
