Default Bell ExpressVu and Bell IPTV on one cable

I wasnt sure which forum to post this in but this forum has a lot of experts. I currently have Bell Expressvu and will get Bell IPTV next week. I want to retain ExpressVu because of the limited channels currently on IPTV. From my main tv location ( which has the 9242 and will have the IPTV receiver) is there a way to backfeed the signal throughout the house on one coax cable? What model of combiner should I use. Would the IPTV be on channel 70 and ExpressVu on 121 for example? I dont want to run 2 sets of backfeeds throughout the house.

My understanding is that iPTV is all Digital, and if that is the case, it will not be on any Channel but will be a digital signal to each Receiver, located at each TV.

If that is correct, then a simple Diplexer should work but I have never played with iPTV so do not take my word for it.....lol

I'm not sure what you mean by this and why you will be subscribing to 2 services.

The coax output on the Motorola VIP12XX series uses either channel 3 or 4 and will be 480i. The remote control is infrared so it is line-of-sight and the STB cannot be controlled from another room.

It might be helpful if you explained what you were trying to accomplish and how many HD and SD TVs you have.

To take full advantage of Fibe TV Whole Home PVR, you would need a VIP1232 PVR on 1 TV and a VIP1200 HD STB on each additional TV. The boxes can be connected by coax using HPNA or Cat5 Ethernet or a combination.
