...I have been looking all over the web...can it read a flash drive formatted NTFS..going to get this tomorrow and a 16-32 gig thumbdrive and would like to know ahead of time if it can ..some of my DVD files are over 4 gig( mpeg2)

According to page 26 of their downloadable manual, it works with NTFS formatted USB sticks for movie files, but not for BD Live. I have the 390, and have used NTFS formatted USB sticks and external hard drives to play back 8+ GB mkv files.

I just picked one up and yes it does but,,,,I am on a mac..I have a small app that allows me to format NTFS drives but there must be something different about this format on mac than on a real PC..
I am going to bring this thumbdrive to my neighbors and get him to format it ..see it that helps
