I thought someone posted on here that ALL the televised preseason games were gonna be shown? And the GameCenterLive thing must be bogus...I'm sure the NHL gives ALL providers access to this stuff to pass along to consumers, the person on the phone either didn't know for sure or was just trying to get you off the phone.

My guess is that the NHL hasn't given the providers that info yet. I've been checking in on NHL.com every few days for the past 2 weeks and there is nothing up yet regarding GCL. If you try calling the toll free number you just get a recording saying the phone lines are closed for the off season. I guess they're waiting until October rolls around before going live with anything. GCL "MAY" still come as a free add-on to CI subscription. I wouldn't bet any money on it though.

Talked to a CSR again, and preseason games will NOT be on NHL Center Ice. That's disappointing, but atleast there will be some games on TV.

Games available in Edmonton
- Six games on TSN
- One Oilers' game on SNET1
- Two games (FLA @ BOS and DET @ NYR) on NHL Network
- Two games on CBC

Only two Sens' games for me.

If you're a Vancouver fan or a Leafs' fan then you will get to see all of the games...(minus the first game for the Leafs).

I'm gonna call Shaw and see if they will have the pre-season games, If they do I will probably cancel the Telus. I can't see NHL Centre Ice as a whole not showing any pre-season games...Only 2 Leafs games are on national TV, the rest are on LeafsTV so no one outside of Ontario are getting those.

Center Ice only airs games that have a network affiliate, they don't do any broadcasting themselves.

If you look at the NHL schedule: http://www.nhl.com/ice/schedulebywee...d=nav-sch-main

You'll see only a few pre-season games have network affiliates that are broadcasting them. Those should all be carried by Center Ice as well, any without a network wouldn't be broadcasted anyway since there's no feed to pick up a broadcast from.

Tuesday's game is a Sportsnet Ontario regional broadcast, which means it's only available to providers who carry the Centre Ice package in pre-season

What's that supposed to mean? Shouldn't NHL Center Ice (the product) be same for all cable providers?

Apparently, Rogers is showing preseason games. Telus... isn't.

Sounds about right since it seems like Bell has shown pre-season in the past too...Shaw again today said they don't know anything about pre-season being shown there either. Lets just hope Sportsnet Ontario isn't blacked out tomorrow since it's not a regular season game.

I'm not 99% sure but since it's sportsnet i'm gonna bet it's blacked out... biggest rip off in Canada that I cannot watch my Nucks cause I live in Edmonton.

MarshMalo, you should be able to watch the Vancouver/calgary game no?

The game in Vancouver is being streamed online at Canucks.com

Well that I probably can but i'm just saying how sportsnet blocks their games based on Region. I live in Canada i should be allowed to watch my Canadian teams like I do on a certain other canadian sports channel.

Does anyone know if Telus has designated channel numbers for Sportsnet Oilers and Sportsnet Flames. Those are seperate channels, but I can't find them on my guide.

Well first game of the pre-season, leafs and sens, and I CANT WATCH IT...what a load of bs. Centre Ice should either have pre-season, or there should be NO BLACKOUTS during pre-season. NHL = Fail.
