Default Tuesdays with Morrie

Are you aware of this fascinating old man?
Have you read the book by Mitch Albom? An excellent sports writer from Detroit and radio show host and ESPN Sports Reporters regular.
Have you seen the bits on Nightline or the new segment Up Close which follows nightline?

If you answered no to any of the above you owe it to yourself to start by at least reading the book.
I hope, should I be so lucky to live to such an age to still have the verve that this man did.
I know two people personally who amaze me at how active they are and what they do everyday. One is 82 one is 84. And they can put me to shame working in the yard ops:

A parting shot from Morrie:
Don't let go too soon, but don't hang on too long.

Wisdom from an unexpected source that probably we all have someone to relate to like this in our lives.
I hope when the time come I can be so humble and ready.

There was a movie made as well, I watched it instead of reading the book.
It starred Hank Azaria as the writer, excellent performances fom everyone.

My wife read the book, and we both completely enjoyed them. So did my Mother-in -Law, who is battling ALS herself. We can see a lot of Morrie in her too.
