On my strange little small town cable system, I don't get TVA or APTN at all. I'm on digital cable with nearly all the english language services offered, but the only french I get is SRC Maritimes, and RDI, ARTV, and EVAS in the high 300's.
Odd. |

You're on Eastlink, right? It might be that the system you're on is a class 3, who didn't have to launch APTN or TVA. Only Class 1 and Class 2 systems did.

Yep, I'm on Eastlink.
What does it take to be Class 3? My town has a population of around 1400, and the other two towns on the system are much smaller. On the plus side, my cable telephone is working well. Mark |

I believe Class 3 systems are those with less than 2,000 subscribers. Class 2 is 2,000 to 6,000 subs, while Class 1 is 6,000 and above.
