This is a one time use code so it would not work. Best I could do was $120 one year all in after cancelling.

I just cancelled yesterday and the only thing I was offered was 3 months at $4.99 which I declined.

My renewal was up recently for my one Canadian sub and they told me the $4.99 deal was expired which now means that this sub will have to go U.S.

Why would you sign up for 1 year @ a crazy rate ($120.00 a year) IMHO, do 6 month blocks and get the best price. I did have no service for a short time , but I have AM/FM, USB and 6 banger of CD`s. I had a lot to listen to, so now I will pay $4.99 a month for 6 months then cancel and wait for the next deal.

I did the same as recon. Cancelled in Nov. Called up a couple of weeks ago and signed up for $4.99 for 6 Months and will cancel at the end. I was offered the $99 taxes in deal but passed.

recon - great idea. I just called them and got the same deal. I want to do 6 month blocks too but since this is a 1 shot deal, I am hoping there will be other 6-month deals when this one ends... in your experience are they hard to come by??

My last year deal was 1 year for $79.99.....I canceled when it was done and the $4.99 for 6 months came up. A I said above I have a ton of other choices so as long as you can live with out the service for a few weeks another deal always comes around. I also have Sirius Canada for our F150 and had it also in our Dodge always a deal to be had with them.

after discussion for a cancelation , I received two offers, a first 107$/year and a other at 17.58$ for three mouths.

I phoned XM today to renew (expires July 31). I had already used the 6 month code mentioned above, so they couldnt apply it again. First rep offered me $164/year

or $6.99/month for 3 months. I said that was too high and asked what I needed to do to get a better price because I just couldn't afford that. She said she would transfer me to the cancellation department. At the cancellation department, they offered me 3 months for $21 or 1 year for $110, taxes etc. already included. They said just call in and give the rep this price to get it. I still think this is high ($110/year). Has anyone else been offered anything better lately?
