It does work Susido, but not online. You'll have to call into XM and activate over the phone. A friend just actived a new radio with the three months for $4.99/month promo that is running concurently with the 50% off one.

Too bad you didn't subscribe a couple of days ago. The GM friends and family promotion ($100 off) just ended.

That code worked online for me no problem. I was just extending my free three month trial which is ending.

ps..the GM code would only work if you had a GM vehicle..

Thanks for the feedback. I'll call in and try again. I'm tried of paying full price year after year with my older radio. BTW, is that the letter O or number zero at the beginning? (I tried it both ways online.)

Here is the text from another thread in this forum. I just tried it online and it worked first try - saved $100 just like that. Awesome! btw - I have XM in my car but it is an Infinity, not a GM product - worked just fine!

Also, I am curious if any one knows, If you utilize promo code & get $64.89 for 1 year, What happens at the end of that year? Do they jack up your rate to reg price or do you renew again for $64.89 for 1 year?

You pay the full price at renewal unless you can apply a new discount code.

I was able to use a discount code to renew my car subscription (factory installed XM) but not my other radio.

I just activated a new XPress EZ radio using the OEMEPP100 code and got the discount. This did not work via the web activation, but was immediately accepted when I called in to CS to activate. Works like a charm now.

Just got off the phone with XM.

According to the CSR tomorrow (april 15th) is the last day they will accept the OEMEPP100 code.

Unfortunately they will not apply this to a radio unless it is factory installed and she said they can tell by the radio ID.

She would not apply the deal to my Xpress EZ futureshop radio.

Apparently they are getting new promo codes soon and she heard they will have ones for the portable radios not just factory installed.

I'll bet if you called back sometime between now and tomorrow you'd probably get a more favorable result.

Notwithstanding this, did you elect to use the three months free with free activation NHL XpressEZ promotion until the new promo codes start to make the rounds?
