Hi Folks, I was wondering if I can get some help setting up my home theatre, I want to be able to record both on my DVD Recorder and my PVR which has dual cable outputs (1 for HiDef and 1 for Regular).
The components are as follows.
I'm just worried that I won't be able to use my PVR after this, if everything works because my DVDR will be controlling everything, no? If this will not work what other options do you think I have? I don't want to buy another receiver just yet. Your thoughts please? |

You have to go to the STB first (can't go through anything first). Then you put the DVD recorder downstream of the STB via S-video and analogue audio. You then connect the STB and the DVD recorder appropriatly to the AVR for audio and to the TV for video.
