Default Integrated tuner

Just wondering if with an integrated NTSC/ATSC/QAM tuner, would I still need an antenna to get OTA HD? I'm in the Montreal region btw. Thanks!

Definitely yes, you will need an antenna of some sort. Most HDTV is broadcast in the UHF band, and the same rules apply as for reception of analog UHF stations. If you're close to local HDTV stations, a "rabbit ears" antenna may be sufficient. For distant stations, a rooftop UHF antenna is required.

Also please click on the links in this post for further info. You will find that there are several Southern Quebec threads in the Reception Results sub-forum and we look forward to seeing you join in on the thread that covers your specific area.
