Upgrading to Rogers' HTC Tytn - Canadian TV, Computing and Home Theatre Forums

Just curious.. I know i've seen some guys around here talking about recently getting the HTC Tytn.
i know on Rogers' site it shows $399 on a 3 year contract. What I wanted to know is if any of you guys were existing customers upgrading to this phone and got the 399 price?
I was just on the phone speaking with them and was firmly told that the $399 price is for new customers only. 3 year contract price for existing customers is $549. I wasnt feeling 100% about dropping $400 for this phone.. let alone 550+tax
