Thanks, KJ |

The best thing would be to call them and ask / confirm..
But as far as i know there NO cap in most Provinces, if NOT all of 'em .. over at Primus DSL |

Be sure to check the reviews at CanadianISP.com, as it doesn't look good. I was considering the bundle until I saw that.

hey distobj...
You should provide better links than that by the way.. - direct link to whatever you want us to see would be way better.. or even a quote from what you want us to see.. Cuz.. not sure what you mean.. BUT .. i am with Primus DSL now .. in Winnipeg here.. And when asked about the cap .. was told that in Ontario, etc.. there is ABSOLUTELY NO CAP.. .. but in Manitoba here .. - like 100 gb/month cap .. which is still great .. (for example more than Shaw cable's cap, which is 60 gb/month only) However when i called back to confirm .. - hehe - i ve been told .. and TWICE.. that there is NO CAP in Manitoba with Primus So go figure So when i told them, that someone told me before that in Manitoba - 100 gb/month cap.. - they told me it's incorrect.. And when i said.. - "so what if i go over 100 gb/month that i ve been told previously was a cap" .. and then they want to charge me for going over, regardless what you just told me.. What then???" The person told me: "Just tell them then that Internet Support / Tech deparment quoted me that there is no Cap" ..and they will wave it.. " (not sure though if they would wave it that one time ONLY .. or permanently) I know.. that sound quite messed up over all.. - so hopefully "No Cap" is a proper information.. BUT EVEN 100 gb/month is pretty good.. That is why, i told in my previous post.. - the best would be to just call them.. and ask them about this according to one's individual exact Geographical Location |

I spoke to marketing folks at Primus this week. There is NO cap in Ontario but cap elsewhere.

Not sure hugh,
I think they don't know themselves there often what's what... As i said, i ve been told different story few times, and while i waited for an answer each time, they put me on quite long holds (like 5 minutes or so) before giving me an answer.. Last few times they told me "No Cap". And when i told them "How come i ve been told before, that there is a Cap?" They replied that that must have been incorrect information.. lol - that there IS NOT cap.. In any case, though, All i can do is hope that it's true and that there is "no cap", but if there is one - then it's 100 gb / month (as i ve been told earlier) .. which is pretty good anyhow. In any case, if i ever were to go over 100 gb/month .. and then suddenly were told by someone there "You are over the cap!". I would just tell them that "Internet Tech Support people, including their supervisor assured me that there was no cap" .. and therefore i was under impression that there truly wasn't one. And then i d tell them, that they also told me there at Tech Support, .. and assured me so also, that if there suddenly happened to be a cap for me, just to tell them that "Tech support people including their supervisor told me so.. and assured me that if THERE EVER happened to be one, .. cuz i was told otherwise and on several occasions.. - ANY the extra charge(s) or whatever, WOULD BE waved .. just that one time at the least" .. etc.. In any case, i tell ya .. I actually like Primus over all (now that i have there Local Home Phone service and DSL internet) .. but there are lots of strange characters (softly spoken) working there in their organization, and definatly more than one with "not too many marbles" in their heads, lol As anywhere else more likely, though....
