And, it kicks off on May 16th.

It will run for a total of three weeks. Three maps will be available, and the purpose of the beta is to test the matchmaking system. (So, no single player.)

So, if this beta only runs three weeks, does this mean that Halo 3 really does have a chance of dropping in September?

Its only running 3 weeks beacuse its a closed beta.
