I think the nielsens canada website used to post the 10 most watched shows in the country for the week or month, now i can't find them. does anyone know where to look? thx.

Here are the top 10 television programs in Canada, with viewer numbers, for the week of April 9 to April 15:

1. American Idol (Tuesday, CTV) _ 2,890,000

2. House (Global) _ 2,836,000

3. C.S.I. (CTV) _ 2,825,000

4. American Idol (Wednesday, CTV) _ 2,463,000

5. C.S.I. Miami (CTV) _ 2,256,000

6. Survivor: Fiji (Global) _ 2,211,000

7. C.S.I. New York (CTV) _ 2,113,000

8. Amazing Race (CTV) _ 1,955,000

9. Desperate Housewives (CTV) _ 1,945,000

10. Dancing With the Stars (CTV) _ 1,667,000

Makes me wonder what if CBS NBC FOX and ABC decided to not let CDN TV leeches air their primtime line up and produce their own shows.

It really makes me wonder where CTV would be without US shows and simsubs. Global doesn't seem to have anything but US shows in the top 20. I'm surprised that CBC actually makes a mark with a few shows and HNIC.
