Anyone else having this problem. Seems to happen on most any channel. Picture and sound goes blank for a second or two then comes back on. Happens on regular and High Def channels and on both my receivers the 6208 and the 2500.
Signal strength maybe? I've noticed the picture not as good lately on some of our HiDef channels but thought that digital cable was either on or off, nothing in between.

Had it happen on one channel on one show on the weekend but that is it.
It happened on my 6200 and even across the firewire feed. |

It could be radio (RF) interference. And it's funny that someone should mention that today. My wife was complaining about that very same thing toinght and it possibly was my fault. I am a ham radio operator and I have a handheld radio that I was talking on when it happened. The screen would go black and no sound when I keyed up. Then it would go away. But only if I was within a couple feet of the box. We have a moto 2500. But this would be the first time that I have ever noticed this happening. So I am getting my radio looked at to see if it my fault or the cable's fault for letting the RF in. Hopefully this info can help you.

Happening to me too...even on the analog-only TV downstairs.

Then last night had to re-boot the PVR, no picture or sound on any of the channels and couldn't get any PVR'd events to play either. Re-Boot fixed it all up. Wierd. Still have the black outs though.

I've been seeing somthing similar. I call these "stalls". The picture gets pixelated for a second, the picture freezes for a second or two, then it comes back normally. Seems to occur regularly on the PBS East channel more than any other channel, but it does happen on others occasionally. I attributed this to the originating station and thought nothing of this, since it seemed to start when they switched that channel feed to TO/Buffalo. Is this what people are talking about?
I also noticed some inteference on the NBC HD channels - faint horizontal lines moving slowly from top to bottom. I attributed this to the cold temperatures we had this winter. When I lived in Moncton, we used to get this occasionally when it was really cold, and it would clear up when it got warm. The cable guys would go up the pole and tweak something at the cable box, and it would go away. Cold weather affecting the signal?? The other thing I noticed with my HD PVR is I have two programs recorded, and it says it's 72% full. What's with that, and can I reset this myself? I have Satriani Live from HD Net and I don't want to erase it unless I really have to. Appreciate any help.
