Let us know Cap. Previously I have been getting some mangled text in the screen from time to time. Usually in the top right corner after pressing INFO. I think we need a version tracker thread.

I have it. Rebooted at 9:28 AM today.

Things I have noticed so far.

Unit is dead quiet now. No disk chatter at all when powered off.

EPG seems more polished. Perhaps it is just me but everything seems more crisp.

No offset in the recorded LIST when scrolling.

....yup, that about resumes it Jake...now, what I'm looking forward to is weekly recordings that'll keep their time slots if programmed for one event a week only...the bug would shift the recording two days after the initial recording....hope this downer is fixed.

Default Firewire working?

...a bunch of new diagnostic pages and more complete pages. Appears to address the multi room unit.

I see that page 31 of 35 is dedicated to the IEE 1394 ports. I suspect that if one connects a Firewire it could now work. If it doesn't, a next update should do the trick. If anyone with a Firewire device (like a D-VHS deck) could try, please let us know.
