Default What are your best DVD-A recordings?

I recently picked up Peter Green's Blues (Fleetwood Mac) on DVD-A. It's a good mix with mild use of surrounds. Also good is Buena Vista Social Club is DVD-A althought my NAD T-534 DVD player has some issues with this disc.

The DVD-As in my collection that I like the best are:
Blue Man Group -- The Complex
Tom Cochrane & Red Rider -- Trapeze: A Collection
Queen -- A Night at the Opera

Great mixes, these.

cheers,

Tubular Bells (the rerecorded version) sounds great, except for John Cleese. His voice doesn't have quite the same effect as the original.

Neil Young's Harvest also sounds great.

Default DVD Audio demos

Hey Folks,

I use Tom Cochranes Trapeze to show the mixing and swirling (the intro into Lunatic Fringe is overwhelming). But for soul searching and relaxing I use The Mavericks, self titled, also Foreigner 4 is a neat mix that brings back some memories. Very disappointed with Fleetwood Mac's Say You Will, too eclectic for my mainstream tastes.

The clarity of DVD-A is awe inspiring. Even with relatively cheap gear it is wonderful.

Queen: A Night At The Opera
Yes: Fragile
Pink Floyd: Dark Side Of The Moon

All of the above are excellent in both audio quality and the use of surrounds.
The biggest eye opener for me is Yes:Fragile. I grew up on this album and the Hi-Rez sound is absolutely amazing.
