I find the S-Video output to be just about useless. On the analog channels, the quality of the comb filter (or maybe just a cheap notch filter) is absolutely horrible. I find that the RF output is too soft, which leaves composite video which is, by far, the best of the bunch. S-Video may have a very slight edge on higher quality digital channels like TMN, but it's not enough to bother with switching back and forth.

My Toshiba has an excellent comb filter in it, so your milage may very.

They'll be adding TMN & VCC HD sometime this month as well.

I'm eager to find out what these channels will offer. Will TMN show HD movies continually, or only at certain times? How many different movies will Viewer's Choice offer in a month?
