is xplornet satellite internet any good? - Canadian TV, Computing and Home Theatre Forums

I live in yale, bc. and dont have a clue which satellite provider to use for intenet or if there is another option. thanks.

I work in IT at an academic institution. We've had nothing but problems from Xplornet customers, mostly related to the caching done both by their servers and the client hardware. I've seen instances of their caching servers happily serving web pages to clients that were months out of date.

We haven't heard complaints in the last 6 months or so, so perhaps these issues have been resolved.
