im trying to get my cnx-duo back to life havent used in years can someone
help me out to let me know what i must do first. thanks

When you say "...back to life...", do you mean you want to ready it to steal TV again? Or do you mean you want to receive free-to-air satellite TV? If the former, you won't find help on this forum. If the latter, let us know what trouble you are experiencing. Many here can help.

i want to get it back working again do i need a dongle to get signal from my dish to my box? i guess my first question not getting a signal

im using dishnetwork 500 dish with double lnb

Ahh...you've answered the question in Post #2 when you mentioned dongle. You better run since a moderator will soon chop you off at the legs as talk about theft of television signals is not allowed on this forum.
