I recently got a D-link DCS-930 to monitor a door in my house as im having issues with neighbors when gone. The software that came with it sucked for timed motion recording. Always kept the computer active and huge network activity from it constantly monitoring when not in scheduler. I switched to I-spy and that program seems to have a issue with its timers. The timers are set in military time but seem to be programmed wrong because its always coming on at the wrong time and i do know my military time. Anyone know of a good software out their that will work properly. Im spending way to many hours trying to get this cam up and running properly. I don't care if i have to pay for it i just want it to work right.

VitaminD Video worked well for me. I used it recently to count the number of cars that pass by my house everyday (we have a problem with speeders) and had it store the video on a network drive wirelessly. I didn't notice too much network traffic or issues there.
Their site shows support for the D-Link DCS-920 so perhaps that same driver will work for the 930? |

You mean have it run in the background on a schedule? If I remember correctly there should be an option for this. If you end up not finding it, I'll take a look and see if I can remember how to do it.
