Hi: I'm trying to decide between a Yamaha RX-A1000 or a Denon 991(FS= 3311). My room is 18x12x8 high(Apt) speakers are PSB T65,PSB C-60 center,PSB-15b rear speakers,no sub yet and given that I live in a Apt not going to get a very powerful one. So let me know what you guys think. I'm leaning towards the Denon 991(seems to have stronger amps(not by much mind you). Thanks for your help!

Either should be fine as you are not going to drive them hard in your environment where stronger amps of one over the other makes any difference. Features and conveniences are more important as long as the sound quality seems the same (you did ask about keeping rather than getting).
For the sub think quality not power and keep your placement option open as all locations are not equal. |
