During inclement weather between my location here in Nova Scotia and the
westerly satillite, our reception of HD signals is lost;the HD signals assigned to the easterly bird are fine with no loss of signal;the SD signals of the super channel network are also lost as they are also assigned to the westerly bird(I assume); has anyone else experienced HD problems during bad weather? thanks |

A few years back, I would constantly get "acquiring signal" messages on HD channels ONLY during wet weather. It turned out to be a ground splice connector that became corroded installed to ground the system to the outside A/C unit. The original installer had said it was necessary. I eliminated the connection and the problem never came back.
May want to check any outdoor connections. |
