I've noticed ever since Shaw bought Canwest Communications everything previously owned by CanWest is now referred to as Shaw Media.
Question Is Corus now changed to Shaw Media or are they two different companys both owned by Shaw family?

Corus is a separate company whose voting shares are owned largely by the Shaw Family.

Corus was spun off of Shaw Communications in 1999. Shaw family has majority voting shares, but they are seperate companies.

Corus never changed to Shaw Media nor is it part of Shaw Media. Shaw Media is the new name for what was Canwest.
