Where to buy DCX3400 or DCX700? - Canadian TV, Computing and Home Theatre Forums

I am new to HDTV and would like to know where I can buy a DCX3400 or a DCX700. Eastlink is my cable service provider. Is there any other Eastlink customer who bought their own DVR? If you would like send me a PM.

You can buy the Shaw DCX3400 from FS or BB which will work on Eastlink.

I was told by Eastlink rep at the New Sudbury Mall: if I want to purchase the DCX3400 then it has to be purchased from Bianco, otherwise it will not work on Eastlink. In other words the Shaw 3400 will not work. Did anybody buy a Shaw 3400 down south and have it activated on Eastlink?
