CTV audio echo - Canadian TV, Computing and Home Theatre Forums

I have a very basic OTA setup and lately CTV and only CTV has a very pronounced audio echo...anyone else hearing that?. I don't know anyone near me that has OTA so I can't confirm and the ones that do have sat or cable and say that alls OK....confused..sent a tech question to CTV but no answer.

( update)..seems to gone now...

The only echo I have with CTV is on American Idol (both OTA and Shaw Vancouver), but that's a problem with the show not CTV. It's like Fox was doing 2.0->5.1 conversion and somehow mistakenly feed the output back to the 2 channels.

I've heard a strange echo on A Atlantic lately. It sounds like another program paying in the background.
