Default Toshiba 40" 40SL500U

Is this 500U any good. It is 10 bit processor compared to the 14 bit in 600U. Is there a real practical difference?

It is advertised in BB with a trade in of $200 for old tv. I have a Sony CRT (32" flatscreen) in the basement that I want to get rid of. Will the delivery people take it away from the house?
TIA
