Default Two 6131's sitting side by side

My apologies if this has already been answered in another thread or somewhere else.

My issue is I have two tv's side by side on the wall in my basement each hooked up to seperate 6131s. Is there a way to Isolate each remote to a designated receiver so it doesn't work on both at the same time?

There's two way...

1- Use one remote for each 6131
You need to change the remote/receiver address

2- Read the manual how to setup a second 6131 on your AUX button
but you still need to do step 1 first. Like this you will use only one remote

Another potential dumb question. Since both 6131s can be run from each remote in sat mode ( meaning say I point my remote and hit guide the guide will come up on both Tvs since its been activated on both 6131s) Once the steps are done above will one receiver only be able to be used by a remote if the remote is in AUX mode and the other when in SAT mode via the remote Isolating each receiver?

Yes if you do both setup... You bill able to control both receivers with one remote.
Important is to set an address for each receiver. ie 1 & 2

When you will set the second remote to use the second receiver you will
have to setup that address to the remote. And vice versa you could setuip rec1
on your remote#2 AUX button. so either remote can be used!

So either you use one remote for rec1 and another for rec2
or remote 1 for rec1 and rec2

Dont forget to tag your remotes! It will be confusing.

I was using one remote per receiver until I was mixed up one day and decided to set the rec2 to my AUX on remote1.
And keep remote2 in case remote#1 brakes.
