Default FiberOP TV hard lock issue

Every so often, when flipping back and forth through my Prev button, the box will totally and completely do a hard lock. I am forced to either unplug the power or hold the power button to reset the device. Its annoying when I am at the last 5 minutes of a show and miss it completely due to the device taking about 5 mins to reload. (the digital TV receiver)

Also, on occasion, when I enter a channel number, the device will not switch to it. Only when I enter in the channel number a second time will it actually switch to it.

Anyone else have these issues with their FiberOP TV?

Are you saying to hold off signing up with the bigger and better products in the new year?

I'm giving this service some serious thought.

Does anyone know if this get auto-downloaded or if I have to unplug and reload, I did that on one of my receivers and it shows the 26 version but I can't tell if it did the others automatically since there is no place to see the version when the receiver is up and running (at least that I know about).
