Anyone use this combo? I wonder how it sounds compared to a traditional amp?

I had it at home. It sounds real good, somewhat better at low volume than the 300 $ dedicated yamaha receiver I now use. Unfortunatly, reliability is poor. My first lasted a week, the second a few hours and the third 20 odd months.
