Default 8 way or more cable splitter? Where can I buy?

Anyone have any ideas where I can buy a Cable Splitter that can split cable up to 8 different sources with Rogers?

I also use Rogers Internet so I would assume any splitter that would be recommended would work for my Internet as well?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

An 8-way splitter would have a huge signal loss. The internet connection should be split by a (passive) 2-way splitter before the TV splits and any amplification. There are some splitter/amps - several hundred $ - that can do what you want and also have internet splitting capabilities in the amp, since internet should not usually be amped. However, you should be calling Rogers to do this since they will then supply the appropriate equipment, do the splits in the right order and check your signals on your various outlets.

Thanks for the information.

I was thinking about calling Rogers, but I figured they wouldn't do it.

Will give them a call.

I use a selection of splitters, 8 way (10db loss), 12 way (12dB loss) and 16 way (16dB loss), for various distribution setups and find that even a Drop Amp, can be enough to power them.

I thought Rogers has a limit of 5 cable boxes per household. Not sure though.

Hi Pinza,

Where did you purchase your splitters from?
