Default NFL Sunday Ticket will be on MTS in HD (2010)

I emailed MTS about Sunday ticket this week. Here is the exchange:

Quote:
Q. Is MTS going to be offering the NFL Sunday Ticket Package thisfall?
If yes, is it going to be offered in High Definition?

A. Thank you for your e-mail Brad. We are currently looking to add the NFL
Sunday Ticket for the 2009season, but we do not yet have an agreement
with the NFL to providethis service, in either SD or HD. If we do add this
package to our service for the fall season, youwill find out about it on
www.mts.ca/tv Sincerely, KeithMTS Allstream Inc.

Sincerely,

Unfortunately this seems to be MTS's canned response...as I had asked earlier about NFL Sunday Ticket...NHL Center Ice...MLB Extra Innings...TSN2-HD...the other 3 Rogers Sportsnet-HD's...Discovery-HD... and a West feed of all the US HD Networks...and they responded with:

"Thank you for your e-mail xxxx. We are currently looking to add all of those channels for the fall, but we currently do not yet have an agreement with these Services at this time.

If we do add these and other channels to our service for the fall season, you will find out about it on www.mts.ca/tv.

Sincerely, xxxxx

Well the joke's going to be on them when I switch back to Shaw next month for the Sunday Ticket package.

Also, I received a letter from Shaw last week offering me 6 months of TV for $14.95/month.

Talked to MTS tv rep today and he said in one of their last tv update meeting he went too they said that they were in the early stages of getting a contract together. I'm not sure if that's true or not but i'm crossing my fingers and if it's out for the 2010 season good bye shaw.....I sure won't miss those crappy pvr's.

Default NFL RedZone on MTS TV

Quote:
Catch all the key plays, from all the teams, and all the star players on NFL RedZone. Red Zone can be found on channels 530 and 531(HD) on MTS Ultimate TV.

Every Sunday, NFL RedZone takes the guesswork out of keeping up with all the games. RedZone brings you the touchdowns and most important moments during all the Sunday afternoon games.

Hosted by NFL Network’s Scott Hanson, NFL RedZone will show you all the long passes for touchdowns, key interceptions or kick returns, breakout runs and goal line stands. When a team gets inside the 20-yard line, NFL RedZone will take you there.

RedZone Pricing
For the entire NFL regular season get RedZone for a one-time charge of $49.99*.
*Note: You must subscribe to NFL Network or Sports Fans Theme Group.

For those that have subscribed to NFL Sunday Ticket, you can add all the NFL ST channels to the new My Picks feature to show up to 6 games of your choice at once.

I also noticed all the games are in HD.

Default NFL RedZone free preview

I noticed that MTS finally put out a press release and included this little tidbit.
Quote:
NFL RedZone will be available for a free preview this Sunday, September 19th on channel 50 for Classic TV customers and channel 42 for Ultimate TV customers.
