Thank you smpowell55,
I will be building a 4221 clone of my own to the specs above.
Now I know why my DW4221 clone was not as good as my SBGH.
DW4221 clones are complete crap. Sure you can receive some channels but it will never be good for the full UHF range as it is claimed. Do not waste your money!
The bowties are only 7" (Not 7.9" like CM), the spacing between bowties are only 7.5" which would impact gain. as well, the reflector is only 2.5" to the bowties. A very sloppy design indeed. No wonder they are $30.
The clone that I am building will be using almost the same materials used for my SBGH.
1 plastic chopping board (Bowtie and balun holders)
slot shelving strips (Thin kind for a light design).
1/2" strips of wood, drilled holes for the reflector to attach to. Hose clamps to mount to the mast.
House wiring for the antenna and feedline.
The antenna will probably weigh in under 5lbs.

I will post a new thread showing Pictures when I am complete.

Thanks again for this information, I was waiting for the detailed specs on the 4221HD.
Cheers,

D
