Thanks all for a very informative thread.

Anyone know if the Portal outputs the channel on all of the ports simultaneously like the current Motorola boxes? I use the HDMI out to my receiver/TV, but also use the component out to a separate TV input. Sometimes it is handy to just turn on the TV and use the TV speakers, while there is still the option of using the receiver and surround speakers when desired.

Also, I have a Netgear MCAB1001 MoCa Coax-Ethernet kit to provide Ethernet into the home theater cabinet, across the coax from the bedroom/office where the cable internet modem is located. Any idea if the Gateway/Portal MoCa network can co-exist with other MoCa traffic on the same coax?
