Linux-based OTA signal tester?

Hi Folks,

I am looking for some software that will scan all lf my channels and then list what it found and signal strength which it will log or which I can pipe to a text file. I would love to have it list everything that it sees including channels that the signal was not strong enough to lock on to. My idea was to use my different antennas and compare the results at a glance.

I think that Dvbsnoop might be able to do this and I will investigate but if someone has a quick answer that would be great. I could also use a windows program through wine as well or in a VM.

Thanks

Check out Posts #4, 5, 6 in this earlier thread for one method that may or may not work with your tuner device:
