Get my husband to mount my antennas on the roof????!!!!! I have done my part I have researched, purchased, set up a test in my backyard. Everything works fine. It has been a couple of weeks now, patience is wearing thin. Any suggestions.
Hee hee, that has got to be one of the first OTA-related questions that I am worried to answer!!! I don't do marriage counselling, but here's an idea: you can tell him that because of your post there are now thousands of Canadians watching and waiting for him to get in gear and put up that antenna!
Sheesh I'm in the opposite situation. I wanted to put it up on the roof but my wife wouldn't let me. Well, things have changed and that antenna will be going on the roof sometime before this winter.
Ah.., the flip side of OTAing and the wife. My significant other initially fought to stop the antennas from being mounted- but now revels in the FREE HD TV!!
Hmm.., without knowing hubby, it's kinda of hard. Get him on the site maybe and we'll work him over. If you already got cable/sat. he might not see the benefit of the antenna, although you could show him the pros/cons thread we have. I guess cutting the cable cords is out of the question?
Just keep at it cordially; we'll support ya.
Good luck and say hello to him from the "Free HD Club".
How high is the house? How good with tools are you? If you think you're capable, go to it.
On the other hand, this may be a good way to get him off his a**!
Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and I noticed a distinct slowdown in the overall system performance, particularly in the flower and jewellery applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.
In addition, Husband 1.0 uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as Romance 9.5 and Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed undesirable programs such as NEWS 5.0, MONEY 3.0 and FOOTBALL 4.1.
Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system.
Please note that I have tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail.
What can I do?

Dear Desperate Woman,
First, keep in mind, Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while Husband 1.0 is an operating system.
Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme.com and try to download Tears 6.2 ... and do not forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update.
If that application works as designed, Husband 1.0 should then automatically run the applications Jewellery 2.0 and Flowers 3.5. However remember that overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1.
Please note that Beer 6.1 is a very bad program that will download the Farting and Snoring Loudly Beta.
Whatever you do, DO NOT under any circumstances install Mother-In-Law 1.0 (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources). In addition, please do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0 program. These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0.
In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend: Cooking 3.0 and Hot Looks 7.7.
the antenna is up, Yeah! and the marriage is still sound. pictures will be coming soon. He borrowed a friend genieboom. Great results on the Detroit stations...but first the carpet in the basement
Keep in mind that Nagging 5.3 could result in the running of Out Too Late 962.5 and New Interest 9.3. That could result in Adultery 1.0, a very undesirable program.
I installed Viagra 1.75 but it still conflicts with my television Dxing.
