57 If you want to use TVGOS, split the RF-coax signal upstream of the STB and use the TV's internal tuner, however, as you say, what's the point with the IPG available on the STB.

TVGOS with Sony Bravia XBR6

Hello new user here,

Tried searching but couldnt find anything, sorry in advance if this has already been answered.

I have a Sony XBR6 37" (absolutely beautiful!) hooked up with a Rogers 3250HD box through component.

Because it is hooked up through component, the TV input is now useless (as there is nothing hooked up through there) thus making the TVGOS unusable. It needs to detect something in order to start working.

Any ideas on how I can get this working?

To be honest I guess it doesnt really matter that much as the built in guide with the hd box is already good enough, but I guess I just want to have everything set up on my Bravia.

ps. big thanks to 57 for his amazing user guide - the pass through setting is SOOOO key! I wonder why they dont include this on the rogers set up manual!
