Doug30 I saw on avsforum.com that HDNet is going to be doing NHL playoff games(first round).

james99 Last HDNET game of the season is tonight: Calgary Flames vs. L.A. Kings

james99 I still prefer to seperate my colours (grey from black). In the eyes of the "law" both are illegal. That being said, I'm unaware of a single Canadian being arrested for being a grey customer.

asif9t9 Isn't it only illegal if a Canadian paid money to an American satellite company? Therefore it's not illegal to not pay for American service. Very grey, indeed.

Doug30 What is grey market?? I am under the impression that it's illegal for Canadians to sub to US satellite.

james99 HDNET is not available in Canada yet. The application is nearly 3 years old. That being said, Canadians have access to it via the grey market.

Who is providing HDNet? I have bell and NO HDNet? I thought bell was the leader in HD programming?

There are 9 HD Hab games on TSN, plus there are bound to be a few on CBC HD, especially when they play Toronto (this is assuming the CBC lockout doesn't affect their HD plans).

Looks like TSN is picking up the feed from Vancouver on Oct. 5th from HDNET.
Is that for certain? Where did you hear about this?

TurboTronix Not one Hab game on the HD channels? What about the Playoffs, are they going to be aired in HD?

I am not a Bev sub but I bought the 6120 and I wanted to know if its worth getting the NHL Center Ice or just the RDS channel in order to se all the Habs games. I know this is not the place to ask this but I just registered so I can't ask it in the main menu

As far as I remember, they had at least two HDNet games showcased in HD as part of the CI package towards the end of the last NHL season.

I recall this because I watched one of the games, and asked Rogers at that time if they were going to be doing more of this.

james99 Well, you are certainly entitled to your opinion but don't be surprised to find yourself in the minority. For the record the official policy is: no how to hack,no how to go grey.

Getting info elsewhere is/was easy anyhow.
