Boavista: bell added yet another Portuguese channel today TVi ch.887
Looks like their seriously targeting the Portuguese market. They now have the most Portuguese in Canada carrying 4 channels that no one else carries plus the other 3 that rogers has.

upsdriver: Hey Boavista, so now here is my question and I have called Bell Fibe in regards to this but they don't even have an accurate answer, so now they are breaking combos into 2 separate ones, the Brazilian Combo and the Portuguese Combo. so one will cost $20 a month and the other $15, does this mean I have to pay for both?? I have had the original Portuguese Combo with GLOBO TV, RTPi SIC/FPTV, and it cost me $15.00 a month, (...)

Hey Boavista, Just wanted to touch base regarding Fibe TV, I havent seen you posting much lately, just wanted to know how you still liking it? and what you think of the new packages? I got a letter from Rogers asking me to come back to them, they now have this new NExtBox 2.0 and it is something like Fibe TV is using, Whole home PVR and they upgraded their Guide too, what are your thoughts on that? It just seems to me that I am paying an arm and a leg for Bell Fibe and still not getting what I was getting with Rogers.. message me back with your thoughts bro.. have a good one

Yea i wasnt aware until after i had ordered the fibe tv. I have to call them back though as for some reason they charged me $100 internet cancellation fee. I already had fibe 25 and obviously with the fibe tv i still have the fibe internet so i dont know why i got charged for that. guess will see.

fibeTV vs Bell SAttelite. Just to let you know you do NOT have to cancel your TV service to get fibe, in fact the fibe guys usually take care of this, but perhaps this changed after you made the switch to fibe? anyways there is no longewr a 30-day notice when the fibe tv guys order yr service, the sat gets cancelled automagically.
