Following is from the Oiler news e-mail... doesn't make up for the loss of FOX HD, but ...
The Edmonton Oilers are adding another game to their pay-per-view roster, and breaking new ground in Western Canada by offering it in HDTV.
On Sunday, December 14, at 6:00 PM, the Oilers will play the Anaheim Mighty Ducks. Although not originally scheduled for pay-per-view, the game has been added as a free bonus to all the Oilers fans that have already purchased the 10-game pay-per-view package. Fans without the package can still purchase an individual game package from Shaw Digital or Star Choice for only $10.95.
All Shaw Digital customers with a Shaw Motorola HD Digital Terminal will be able to view the pay-per-view game in HDTV on channel 138. The standard definition pay-per-view broadcast will run commercial-free on Shaw Digital channel 200.
