My Prima 42" Plasma died a while ago and I would like to have it repaired locally. The problem is black screen, no picture. Can someone recommend a service repair service center. I do not have a car so somewhere close to downtown Toronto would be appreciated but not a deal breaker if it is in Scarborough or Mississauga. Does anyone of someone they were pleased with and was a reasonable cost. PM me or post here.

Thanks in advance for your help in this.

The best thing to do is contact the retailer where you purchased your set. They will be able to tell you if the TV is still under warranty and, if not still covered, suggest a reliable service depot.

Is this not one of the plasma brands that can not or will not be repaired? IOW, if it's in warranty they replace it, if not you trash it, unless it's something very minor. google "prima plasma repair" to read the stories... Not trying to be discouraging, but there are numerous brands like that and just a heads up before you go to a lot of trouble.
