I guess it is as good of a time to jump into this thread.
My name is Patrick and live in Maryland. I have been a ham operator W3PO for more than 30 years and have operated on VHF UHF and microwaves mostly. All my antennas are homebrewed, and with the HD I have been looking around quite a bit to find an interesting design, then I found you. I live in 21773 and antennaweb predict all my sigs to be between -100 to -126dbm, buying commercial would be way too easy, homebrewing would be way too fun!
I am gathering stuff out of my junkbox to put together a DBGH soon and will be glad to participate in any way.

Yeah, TVFool says -92 to -110 dBm for your main channels at that zip. Thats very weak signals. Youll need a DBGH with a good preamp.
